Great pizza. In a state where there's no shortage of pizza. It's nice to have a new style to enjoy. Family friendly and great service from all staff.

This place was very good. I will definitely come back. The ambience was decent. The inside felt like a hole in the wall New York City pizzeria. I had a couple modern touches with books along the wall and various items of interest. Nothing fancy, but nice. The food was above average, but not the best I've ever had. The garlic knots tasted very good, but we're not very garlicky, so it is hard to classify them as garlic knots. Still had a nice taste, though. The pizza also had a very good taste , so I would definitely get it again. The prices and service was good.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Norwalk, Crust Issues is a must-try! For just $40 per person, you'll indulge in a four-course (but really eight plate) Italian feast that's both delicious and unique. The menu changes weekly, so each visit is a new adventure. To start, the long hot pizza and escarole and beans were delicious. Next up, the croquettas Alfredo, chili hot honey Cobb salad, and pastini ala vodka offered a mix of indulgent and fresh, with each plate complementing the other. For the third course, the cowboy Parm and smoky red sauce rigatoni, paired with spicy cucumbers, were incredible. And if you think you're too full for dessert, think again-- the banana pudding tres leches was the perfect sweet ending. The best part? It's all you can drink, which makes it even more of a steal. Reservations are required and can be made via DM on their Instagram.

We saw an Instagram post and had to try it! The interior is really well done with dark and wood tones. We were immediately greeted and given a warm welcome and assistance with the menu and off menu items on Instagram. We saw the pepperoni topped Italian combo chopped sandwich on Instagram so we had to try that - it was really good, only thing I would say is the oregano and seasoning mix they sprinkle on top is a little too strong. It's been hours and I still can't get the taste out. The chopped Italian inside is so good though- I would eat it on a regular hero roll. The mozzarella sticks were huge - these were more like mozz hunks than sticks, and they were melty and crispy and delish. The sandwich was huge so we shared it and still couldn't finish it all. I definitely want to come back and try other things because it all looked so good

Crust Issues has been on my bucket list and I finally made it. Crust Issues is a small establishment in a small plaza. They serve Pizza, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and they even have a prix fixe menu that you can order from. The establishment does have takeout and it's really a self-serve restaurant. You put your order in at the register and then you sit down. The food is brought up by the staff and you throw away your own items. My daughter and I ordered a pizza with Pepperoni and an order of Garlic Knots. The Garlic Knots were huge and they had a nice amount of garlic and butter coating the Garlic Knots. Honestly, you can eat the Garlic Knots and a Salad and you would be full. I would say in my opinion that the Garlic Knots are too thick for my liking but that just my take. Now, let's get to the Pizza. I did have an issue with my crush since it's not a traditional style pizza. It's more of a Detroit style pizza. I like pizza crust to be crispy all the way through but the Pizza was good. The sauce had a sweet flavor but very flavorful. I don't know what kind of cheese they use but it gave the pizza some zest. It was not a powerful cheese but it just gives you a small punch in your mouth, which was good. Overall it was a good Pizza. The customer service was good and the owner is very friendly and outgoing. I would recommend to come here.

I came here for the special Saturday night tasting menu and wow! I was blown away by the concept and flavors. First off, for only $40 pp this is an amazing deal. We got 7 courses plus dessert and a beer! I barely ate half of each course and I was stuffed (not that I'm complaining - the leftovers were divine the next day). The vibe is sort of like creative chaos. A new dish comes out every 10 min or so, often delivered by the owners young daughter. The owner (I think his name is John maybe?) was super nice and also waiting on tables. He was busy but everytime I asked a question he stopped and chatted. The pasta was my absolute favorite of the night - a spicy creamy pastina with yellow aji peppers that I cannot stop thinking about. Every dish was pretty heavy so don't come here for a light meal lol. In total we got 8 dishes: two kinds of salad, pizza, smokey chicken parm, aji pasta, birra cupcake, truffle croquette, and a cake for dessert (unidentifiable but incredibly delicious). The owner told me that everything we ate is not on the menu and may or may not appear at tastings again. It's a fun concept that enables you to try whatever fleeting fun recipe is in his head! The pizza here is a unique style...kind of like a Detroit pie and a bar pie had a baby. We def want to return to try some pies on a non-tasting night. The slice we tried was lovely, with a buttery crispy crust and nicely balanced tomato sauce. Def worth checking out this pizza place! Parking can be a little tricky. If the awkward lot is full, try the car wash next door (if it's closed). My one tiny complaint - the music came out of a single small portable speaker on the counter which happened to be right next to our table. It was very very loud and we had to yell to speak to each other. I actually popped in a concert earplug I had in my purse, and that helped a lot. Not sure I could have stayed all dinner without it tbh! Would suggest the owner get a couple more speakers and have them playing in various locations at a lower volume please! Will def return to try more delicious food from crust issues! I highly recommend their tasting night for a unique dinner experience, you won't regret it!

Left dinner full and happy. The four course dinner with wine was a steal. Their service was incredibly friendly and accommodating they answered my reservation within minutes. The menu changes every week but tonight I was obsessed with the lomo Saltado gnocchi and s'mores tres leches cake. I will definitely be back. P.S. this is the perfect idea for a great date night

Love everything about Crust Issues! I will preface this by saying that the owner, John, basically only ever makes the best restaurants, so he's already at an advantage! He just gets what the people want, but in the most creative ways! So the aesthetic is unique, real books that have been cut (you'll just have to see for yourself). The pizza is technically crust less (Crust Issues, you see lol) but is surprisingly still delicious! Really out of the box toppings like potatoes, etc. 10/10 would recommend!
